Asrar graduated from the University of Dundee in 1996 with honours degree in Accountancy (BAcc Hons). He passed his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) exams in 2002 and recently became a qualified member of ACCA. He has four years’ industry experience as an accountant and has spent over 10 years in public practice. He is experienced in implementing computerised accounting and payroll systems for various businesses; this includes software and hardware selection, installation and training. During his student days, Asrar worked in restaurant trade for over 3 years; he is specialist in restaurant business and has been helping clients in this sector for many years.
Asrar has a keen interest in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) and has trained with world leading experts in this field. In addition to being an accountant, he can help clients reach their full potential.
David qualified as a chartered accountant in 1981, and was a partner with McKerrell Brown & Gray CA from 1983 to 2006. He specialised in audit and charity accounting and has been involved in forensic accounting since 1996, an interest that developed into Adamson Forensic Accounting Ltd, which became the first Scottish member of the Network of Independent Forensic Accountants (“NIFA”). He joined Alba in June 2009 and divides his time between Alba and his forensic work, having previously been a part-time finance manager and a trustee with two Scottish charities. He has many years experience in a wide range of business sectors and structures.
